Coucou Mademoiselle, I’m Aurélia!
With French Indonesian roots, I grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia and left home at 18. Since then, I’ve lived in Singapore, Paris, and Australia. Each place shaped me differently, but Paris, especially, left a mark.
I found myself surrounded by art, beauty, and people who moved with intention. I spent evenings at jazz clubs, wandered through museums, and started caring deeply about how things were done, not just what was done.
My dad always said I was born in the wrong era, and I think he was right.
The Beginning
For a long time, I pursued elegance, intellect, and beauty, but something always felt like it was missing. In October 2023, I gave my life to Christ. And that’s when everything slowly came together.
Faith didn’t replace what I loved, it deepened it. It gave meaning to my femininity. It connected the soul to the surface.
Two months later, I started Mademoiselle Diaries, and within weeks, it grew beyond what I imagined. I saw so many women searching for a return to something real, rooted, and beautiful.
Mademoiselle Diaries is for the woman who wants more than what culture is offering her. One side says to reject femininity. The other says to turn it into a performance.
